Dmitri Alexeev Ph.D

Dmitri Alexeev, Ph.D, has over 25 years of experience under his belt as Research Analyst, Head of Quant Research, and Chief Investment Officer at prestigious firms such as Man Group, HFR Asset Management, and Dearborn Capital. He designed and implemented allocation strategies, investable indices, and managed accounts platforms, including architecture, database logic, and interface features of internal pricing and risk monitoring systems, and was responsible for processing data for 100+ hedge funds, 30k+ positions and 5k+ transactions daily (more than $4bn portfolio value).

Launched in 2018, AlphaBot helps allocators – including high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions – find and connect with investment platforms, hedge funds, data sources and other providers.  Using AlphaBot, allocators can obtain fund performance and benchmarking data, then model, build and execute portfolios all from a consistent, user-friendly interface.
 

AlphaBot technology serves as the foundation the powers the analytical tools available through the Banríon Technology Platform. Dmitri and his team lead our technology development and partnership integrations.

In addition to his role as OCTO for Banríon Capital, Dmitri is a member of Banrion's Board of Directors and is an investor in the company.

Dmitri earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Control Systems from Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University, a Masters of Science Degree in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University and a Doctorate in Mathematics from Tulane University.
