The NFL’s decision to allow private equity firms to invest in teams opens the door for new alternatives, but access is limited and investors may need to act fast. CEO Shana Orczyk Sissel explained to Sean Allocca at The Daily Upside that previous sports-related funds closed in about a month, and space in the closed-end funds may be somewhat limited until demand increases.
