The SEC is ramping up enforcement efforts and cracking down on illegal activities in the industry. Chief Investment Strategist Victoria Bills shared with Sebastian Sinclair of Blockworks that regulators are expected to take a strong stance against larger crypto exchanges and set new precedents for regulation this year. “Exchanges like Binance have been operating by skirting regulatory rules and now they are facing heavy scrutiny,” she added.
