Market Talk: Nvidia's Q4 earnings of 'massive' importance to stocks | REUTERS

Reuters TV

Feb 25, 2025

"One thing that is a bit of a red flag is weakness in the consumer credit markets," Shana Orczyk Sissel told Lisa Bernhard on Reuters, discussing the latest drop in consumer spending. She noted a "huge discrepancy between high-income earners and middle- and low-income earners" in terms of spending, with lower-income groups showing signs of financial stress. Rising credit card and auto loan delinquencies are returning to normal levels, but they remain a key concern.

Shana also weighed in on Nvidia and whether China’s DeepSeek poses a real threat to its dominance.
